Catalog of Water Actions
This catalog is part of the Youth Current Program - a capacity building initiative to foster water stewardship and agency in young activists living in vulnerable, informal settlements. Inspired by design thinking, it is a creative process that moves from connection and exploration to co-creation and action. The purpose of this catalog is to showcase different community-scale interventions that young activists can implement in their communities.
The Youth Current Program was co-designed with the technical expertise of Rambøll, the coordination of Dreamtown, and the day-to-day implementation of partners: Public Space Network in Kenya and Network for Active Citizens in Uganda.
Water Analysis - Nairobi and Kampala
The purpose of the water analysis is to provide a holistic understanding of the water system at the watershed and community scale to foster water stewardship. They contain analysis of Nairobi and Kampala in areas of climate change assessment, looking at water scale, community scale, and an opportunity mapping.
The analysis link to our project with Rambøll, Public Space Network, and Network for Active Citizens, which is supported by Rambøll Foundation.

Through the SDG Challenge, we create space for young activists to shape how development is framed and to design solutions to urban challenges - in collabs with . The Handbook offers the tools and guidance to run the case challenge with Dreamtown or other NGOs.
Report on Youth Wellbeing in Sierra Leone
The report on youth wellbeing examines multiple dimensions of well-being of youth in Sierra Leone, drawing on the baseline survey, with a particular focus on public spaces. The baseline survey was co-designed by the project’s partners, and survey data collection conducted by students and staff from the University of Makeni.
Climate Vulnerability Assessment - Kampala
This climate vulnerability assessment, developed with the Network for Active Citizens, explores youth-led climate action in Katwe, Kirombe, Kunya, Kitintale, Kinawataka, and Kyebando. The findings guide advocacy for inclusive adaptation strategies and greater resources to address climate challenges.
