What is the Dreamfund?
We believe in the power of dreams. And we believe in the power of youth activism. This is why we have developed the Dreamfund. The Dreamfund, as part of Dreamtown, directly supports young people who have innovative ideas for making their city youth friendly. Ideas that - with a bit of financial support - can make a huge difference in informal settlements and slums.
In 2025, all funds from the Dreamfund support young dreamers and doers in South Africa - to boost their urban transformations.

Besides supporting the Dreamfund - What do I get from a membership?
You’ll be invited to our Annual General Assembly.
You’ll be invited to inspiring events on youth activism, urban development, and other cool themes.
You can drop by our vibrant office space in Demokrati Garage in Copenhagen and have some good coffee on us.
Our donations system
A basic membership costs 150 DKK. Everything on top is considered a donation. Both memberships and donations are transferred to the Dreamfund.
Donorbox is the system we use to manage our donations. After you make a recurring donation (membership), you will receive an email to set up a Donorbox donor account by creating a password. The email you used making the donation will be your username. You can, at any time, change or cancel your membership. To edit your recurring donation as a donor, go to Donorbox.org and log in to your donor account by clicking the Donor Login link at the top of the page. If you didn't set up your account via the setup email, you can use the Retrieve My Account link. This will allow you to establish a donor account.
